What it covers

How the supervisors of a cross-border group of obliged entities (financial and non-financial) divide their duties and cooperate: information exchange on their own initiative and on request, cross-border supervisory inquiries, common approaches such as coordinated or joint supervisory activities, and onward disclosure within the EU supervisory system without prior consent. AMLA consulted through a public hearing on 28 May 2026 (consultation paper of 11 May 2026; the hearing was the only channel for feedback). On 1 October 2026 AMLA published the final draft RTS (press release of 1 October 2026) for submission to the European Commission; adoption and publication in the Official Journal still to follow.

What it means in practice

No direct obligations for obliged entities. Groups with entities in several Member States should expect their home and host supervisors to share findings and to coordinate inquiries and inspections, so a finding in one country reaches the others faster.
