The consultation has closed. AMLA is processing the responses and preparing the final draft for submission to the European Commission.
What it covers
National act that transposes AMLD6, amends or repeals the Wwft and designates DNB, AFM and BFT as supervisors under the new regime. Determines which national options (cash limits, register access, sanctions) the Netherlands keeps. The internet consultation closed in 2025 (progress letter of 16 December 2025); the Council of State advised on 12 August 2026 (advice W06.26.00123/III, published 17 August 2026), and the bill is now before the Tweede Kamer.
What it means in practice
Sets the national rules that remain next to the AMLR. Policies and supervisory contacts must be updated once the act is adopted; follow the parliamentary treatment for the final national options.
