Applies to
every type of obliged entity

A draft is open for public comment. Obliged entities and industry bodies can respond until the deadline; the text will still change.

What it covers

Criteria for deciding when a report of suspicions concerns another Member State and how it is passed to that FIU: in full as a cross-border report, or as a set of key data as a cross-border dissemination, applied automatically within FIU.net. Consulted by AMLA from 6 July to 6 October 2026; final draft scheduled for Q4 2026.

What it means in practice

No direct obligations for obliged entities (AMLA states the rules place none on private companies). It does decide what happens to your reports after filing: a report with a link to another Member State is shared with that FIU on objective criteria, so the country data in a report (customer, counterparty, account) should be complete and structured.
